WASHINGTON, D.C. – (November 28, 2022) – The National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) is proud to announce that it is being joined by three new Council Members.

“We are ecstatic that Brandy Butler, Kathy Cochran, and Leslie Lynn Smith are joining the Council,” said Tené Dolphin, Executive Director of NWBC. “Each bring experience, energy, and engagement to their work and I know each will push for women entrepreneurs to have a seat at the table and a voice in the conversation.”

Brandy Butler is the President and CEO of ADC Management Solutions, a human capital outsourcing company providing consulting and administrative management solutions. Outside of the Council, Brandy serves on numerous boards and committees focused on equity and opportunity. She looks forward to supporting women starting new businesses during her time on the Council.

Kathy Cochran is a founding partner of Elevate2 Consulting, LLC, an organization which provides management coaching and advisory services. She is interested in advocating for women entrepreneurs and working to break down systemic processes and practices to better support women. As a grandmother herself, Kathy is looking to create generational change for women in business.

Leslie Lynn Smith is the National Director of GET Cities, which works to ensure that the tech industry is an engine for, not against, equity and economic justice, especially for those who have been historically excluded. Her dream is to build a world where everyone has the resources to reach their full potential, in business and beyond. Though Leslie is now working to promote business growth nationally, her previous work has centered on strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems at the local level in Memphis, Tennessee and Detroit, Michigan.
