NWBC a Leading Voice on Women’s Economics


This week, the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) will be participating in an array of events focused on advancing economic gains for women entrepreneurs. The NWBC continues to be a leading voice on issues of importance to women entrepreneurs and will utilize its platform to advocate for women’s increased access to capital, access to markets, job creation, and data collection of women’s economic impact. Take a look at the NWBC’s upcoming involvement:

  • 7/21 - NWBC Executive Director Amanda Brown to give remarks for the opening panel of the Women’s Business Center Training Conference
  • 7/22 - NWBC Staff to attend “Boosting Small Business Growth and Job Creation” event hosted by JP Morgan Chase & Co. and the U.S. Small Business Administration
  • 7/23 - NWBC Executive Director serves as a panelist for a conversation on “Women’s Entrepreneurship Organizations” during Women’s Business Center Training Conference
  • 7/23 - NWBC Staff to attend Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship hearing
  • 7/24 - NWBC Council Member Rose Wang to keynote the DC Department of Small & Local Business Development Self-Certifications Workshop for Women-Owned Small Businesses
  • 7/24 - NWBC Staff to attend House Committee Meeting on Women’s Business Issues
  • 7/24 - NWBC Research & Policy Director Erin Kelly to attend Women’s Policy, Inc. STEM Fair
