Kimberly A. Blackwell

Kimberly A. Blackwell is the founder and CEO of PMM. Founded in 1999, the Midwest based certified M/WBE brand strategies firm provides comprehensive creative services, marketing, communications, reputation management, event production, interactive & new media, and agent representation services to its clientele. From Fortune 50+ global corporations, to government/public sector, PMM represents the interests as an Agency of Record (AOR) for Nationwide, Toyota, Macy’s, The Billion Dollar Roundtable (BDR), The Huntington National Bank, Food Lion LLC, American Express, State of Ohio and the City of Columbus among others. In 2013, PMM was awarded “2013 Minority Business Enterprise of the Year” by the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (OMSDC). Keeping its momentum, PMM received “2014 Regional Supplier of the Year” by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
In March 2014, Ms. Blackwell was presented with a prestigious award among 2014 Enterprising Women of the Year. This global recognition honors a select group of successful female business owners from across the world. Recognized nationally as a thought leader and influencer, in 2014 Black Enterprise magazine featured Ms. Blackwell as one of the country’s “Women of Power”. In 2013, Ms. Blackwell was also highlighted by Black Enterprise among the nation’s “Top Marketing & Advertising Executives” and awarded nationally with The Network Journal’s “25 Influential Black Women in Business”. Ms. Blackwell will accept the honor by Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD-OH) as a “2015 Women You Should Know”.
A dedicated public servant, Ms. Blackwell serves as a Trustee for the YWCA Columbus, Columbus Urban League, King Arts Complex and board member for The Center for Healthy Families. Ms. Blackwell is a member of Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association® walking in the talk that “…to whom much is given, much is required.”
